Constraints
Every active condition is applied to a complete 52-card deal, with duplicate-card and range validation before the run begins.

Assign individual honors or spot cards to descriptive seats when the auction or previous play makes ownership known.
Set a minimum and maximum from 0 to 37 HCP for each generated seat.
Require exact, minimum or maximum lengths independently for spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs.
Use balanced, semibalanced, unbalanced, notrump, passed-hand, weak-opening, overcall, control and keycard rules.
Combine direct syntax and presets with AND, OR and negation to represent alternatives or exclude a class of hands.
Example
A teacher wants deals after East opens a weak 2 spades and North has a known hand with a borderline takeout-double decision.
Enter North exactly. Describe East with the Weak 2 spade preset, which requires the configured six-card suit quality, and add the point range used by the lesson. Constrain South and West broadly enough to keep realistic variety. If a specific auction promises a known honor or side-suit shortage, add that information explicitly.
Preview several boards before launching a large run. The boards can support a partnership discussion about doubles and advances, or they can feed a contract comparison that asks whether one action produces a better result. The generator is most useful when the constraints express the learning objective without scripting the answer.
Uses
For simulation, the generated boards become the common sample on which contracts are compared. For partnership practice, they expose the range of hands behind an auction agreement. Teachers can use a narrow scenario to discuss recurring decisions, while analysts can inspect why a result changes when a point or shape assumption moves.
Bridge Solver currently keeps generation inside the analysis workflow. It is not a standalone dealing program and does not claim PBN, LIN or CSV export. Previewed and saved boards remain connected to the assumptions and results that produced them, which is useful when the goal is a reproducible analysis rather than a deck file.
Methodology
The generator samples complete deals and rejects layouts that fail an active condition. The accepted set therefore reflects the combined constraints, not the frequency of an unconstrained random deal. Tight conditions require more attempts. Conditions that are individually possible can still conflict when combined across four seats.
Requested count describes the target; generated count describes the boards actually accepted. Pick rate is accepted deals divided by attempts. A low rate is not automatically an error, but it is a reason to inspect the model and avoid claiming more precision than the accepted sample supports.

The current Simulation interface supports one complete exact hand. Other seats can receive fixed individual cards and descriptive constraints, or all four seats can be generated descriptively without an exact hand.
No standalone PBN, LIN or CSV export is currently offered by the web deal-generation workflow. Generated boards can be previewed and inspected as part of the saved analysis.
Bridge Solver rejects non-matching samples until it reaches the requested count or the attempt limit. Very rare or contradictory conditions can produce a low pick rate or fewer accepted deals than requested.
Yes. Custom filter expressions support negation and combinations, so rules such as !balanced or !weak 2 hearts can remove holdings from the generated population.
